2014 Partner/Homie presentations

This year, only the 9th graders presented their homies.  We didn't have time in the 10th grade; plus, I've found that because of the SLCs, they pretty much all know each other already.  Before the students present, they interview their partner, and I teach presenting skills: eye contact, don't speak to just the teacher but to the whole classroom, etc.  These are speaking skills that we will practice all year and that will push students out of their comfort zones.  Most 9ers are shy and don't want to be filmed presenting, but the Jason team accepted the challenge.  How'd they do?  You can watch and compare them to last years presentations by clicking here
