What is your MOUNTAIN?:  The Ninth Grade Final

Picture
“I have not conquered Everest, it has merely tolerated me.”     --Peter Habeler

Peter Habeler seems to be saying  that Everest is a living and breathing thing that people want to dominate.  However, he clearly states that no one conquers Everest; we just survive it.  I see the Everest unit as being a metaphor for life.  No one conquers life, it merely tolerates us.  We study Everest because we are interested in trying to understand how to live life.  Learning about Everest helps us to understand how to live a more fulfilled life.  Studying how people go about tackling a huge challenge has been the goal since the beginning of the year.  The goal in this essay is to make clear how Everest connects to your life.  Have fun with the challenge!  What is your mountain?  Enjoy the climb.  Climb on!

Essay Prompt
:
What is your mountain?  Compare climbing Everest to what you are trying to accomplish in life.

My Mountain Essay

The mountain Everest is as complicated and as deadly as any
task in our lives. In a sense it is as serious as any goal in our life also. My Mountain would have to be becoming an F.B.I. agent. You have a lot of turns and crevasses and even illnesses stopping you from getting to the top of Mt.Everest. My turns, crevasses and illnesses stopping me from my summit would have to be the people I associate myself with. If I am around people who don't support my goals or try to live a careless life that they don't think they should have responsibilities the they will try everything they can to persuade me to do the same unless I push them away. That brings us to Base camp.

Base camp is 13998 km from the bottom of the mountain. It's the starting point up the mountain. You have to stay at base camp for a few days so your body can get used to the thin air and so you don't get sick. This is called acclimatizing. My Base camp is high school. That may sound dumb but if I don't keep all my grades up and make sure I get awesome scores on my tests then I won't get into the collage I want and that stops me from reaching my summit. So, I must stay in school and keep furthering my acclimatizing so, my whole goal won't go down the drain.

After Base camp comes Camp 1 which is 19,900ft high. My camp 1 is four college at Sac State. At camp one on Everest they have the Khumbu Icefall. The Khumbu Icefall has huge glaciers that you must use ladders to get up and over. The ladders are unpredictable and and honestly really scary. You never know when you might just slip and fall. And it's a never ending fall. At Sac State the finals and the assignments are crucial to get a good reputation, so that I can get into law school next which also brings me to Camp 2

Camp 2 has a lot of avalanches and is where you can get the illness gangrene. My camp 2 is Law school. Since I want to become an FBI agent it would help to know a few things about the law enforcement. Even then I could either choose law school or the police academy. I have chosen Law school because I will get everything that I could learn from the police academy in the Navy, but I will touch on that later. Gangrene in everest is a illness that that you get when you get to cold. The only way to get rid of it would be to amputate it. This means to cut it off. This compares to Law school because if I do badly in any class they will simply expel me like cut me off completely.

We are now at Camp 3, Feeling light headed yet? No, good. Camp 3 in my opinion is the hardest place to get to. To get to Camp 3 you must go up 24500 ft and there is a slope that you have to climb over and the worst thing is the ropes are fixed ropes, so you might fall at any minute. My Camp 3 is joining the Navy as an officer. Now I am on thin ice or a thin rope if I don't make it in the Navy. If I quit the Navy there is no going back. There is nothing I can do. I could become a police officer but that isn't really completing my goal now is is?

We made it to The Death Zone also known as Camp 4. We lost a few clients on the way but oh well, I mean it happens all the time. We just have to survive Mt.Everest. We can't rest here or we will die so we have to continue up the mountain to the summit. My Death Zone would have to be my training to become a F.B.I. agent. If I fuck up and don't learn quick and keep moving they are going to think I am not qualified for the job and tell m that I just couldn't make it and that everything I did was a wait of time. All this happened because I didn't keep moving.

Finally, weare at the summit. Was it worth it? It definitely was hell but that's not even the worst part. You're only halfway through, we still have to get back down. I became an F.B.I agent and we both made it to the summit. The sucky thing is that we can only stay for 2-3 minute because of the air pressure. Its technically killing you. So let's start heading down. Dont slip up other wise you will die like if I slip up I will be fired from my new job. Everest is a beautiful place but there are tiny things that will leave you dead or in pain for the rest of your life. Don't be mad I mean you're the one who wanted to climb Mt. Everest the deadliest place ever.

What is your mountain?

What would you like to become after you finish college? My mountain is becoming a mechanic, chef, and athlete. I would need to take risks for my grades in high school and college. I would need responsible for it. High school is my base camp, first camp is what coming to me like i would need to beware of distraction, getting my grade to get back up, and stop thinking about other things. Mountain Everest is similar to this because there are lots of step people going through. Everest is not that easy to climb, if you make any kind of miss take you would die. The only thing you should think is hope because if you still alive, you will have chance to get back up, and keeping climbing.
Base camp High school is no joke because i know 45% of people didn't make it through. People have to be focused to finish high school. In my thought why don't they finish high school? People in other country really want to be in school but cannot get it. And other people don’t want to finish school get the education?
.Camp 1 Distraction is a very big problem for some high schooler students like your phone and having conversation with other people. In my opinion i should leave those people later. For example, it’s like people who drive and use their phone that cause death and you won’t know something would happen right away. Thinking about other things out of school happen to me a lot. I would lose everything whats going on in class and fail. If you think a lot in everest like you would make it or miss your family that’s too much confident and have less.
Camp 2 and 3 are the same i would want to finish 4 year in college. What i would do in college is becoming a mechanic and have some athletic of playing football and soccer. My other challenges is taking care of my body and being healthy. I really have lots of thing i would really like to become like a chef, mechanic, and athlete. What is in my way is what i really want to become. I’m a person who think a lot but don’t really know who i going to come. That’s the most painful thing and that is just like the Lhotse face. And i’m getting there.
Camp 4 is what i would keep fighting. Mr Johnson states, “ keep fighting, get to the summit.” i would try to pass through the death zone. Every fight would come to a death or alive. Movies are what you are in and that’s is like using visualize in movie where the main person will win. Your that main person to be the first person that try your hardest to think.

My Mountain In life

There are many obstacles to get to the top of your mountain. Step by step you get closer to where you want to be. In Mt. Everest there are obstacles like the base camp and the 5 other camps. My mountain is graduating high school because it takes a lot of effort and energy just like climbing on Mt. Everest.
The base camp on Mt. Everest is just like going to your first day of high school because it’s a new environment that you have to get used to and it can be a bit overwhelming. You have to be prepared for what can happen because things can get dangerous. Who you meet along the way will have an impact on reaching your final destination.
Camp 1 can be an excitement because it's like finishing your first year of high school even though you always have to go back and forth with your hard work. You look forward to going into your next step to success but you can't be too sure that there won't be any things in the way.

What is your mountain?

My mountain is trying to achieve all my goals and make my future better. So basically trying to finish high school for a better future. It will be a tough road for me but I feel like it's gonna be great. I'm gonna have to take many risks but I feel like I be able to handle them. Base camp is high school for me. The way of high school is that it's gonna be tough during through all those years of writing and learning, but it'll be worth all the stress and hard working times. There will be ups and downs during high school but you just gotta take the risk and just go along with it. It's like if you're trying to climb everest, you gotta come prepared and be able to be ready at anytime. If you don't then it's just no point of trying to ever climb it. You gotta think smart before you actually do it. Even though how hard it is, if you wanna climb it, don't ever back down once you have already done it. Keep going until you eventually reach the top. It doesn't really matter on if you reach it or not. As long as you know what you're doing and is able to accomplish what you started. Just don't back down once you begin your journey.

For my camp 1 and camp 2, it’s about college and getting a job. Ill talk about college first, college is just a little harder than high school but like I said, if you can go through with highschool you'll be able to pass college also. Once you go through it, never back down. You also gotta think smart about going to college, you will fall if you aren't as careful as others. Even though in life during college years you will have more stress, you just gotta get through it. For me i'll try to get through it how I will get through high school. Camp 2 is about getting a job that will be good for me. Having my own responsibility. Also on what I wanna spend and never to beg or ask for others. Having a job will be tough too. Because you will have school and work it'll be hard. But as long as you know how to not stress over these kinds of things. You just keep climbing and climbing until you eventually get over with it.

Camp 3 and 4, it will be about having a job, and a life. You gotta have a good career to be able to afford a great well paid job. It's like when you're climbing it and you have to be able to afford things to get it. The most important is being able to have a job now after you're done with high school and college. Just how when you're up in the camps you gotta have the right mindset to able to go up more. And once you are at the camps or passed the camps there will be more that awaits you. Camp 4 is a much harder now.. Once you get start the travel to camp 4, It will be difficult and a rough road. Youll get through it if you think and believe that you can. Its having a life for me. Even though you have so many things on your mind you'll eventually get to it. You will get the life that you deserve after achieving all the hardworking and stressful things you did in the past.

Then finally the summit, it's one of the most suffering madness places. It's just like how the life you're gonna be living later on in life. Stressing and wanting to leave earth. It's gonna also be tough and rough so you'll have to really hold on and keep going. Then once you get to the top and finally feel happy and that great feeling. Now you gotta come back all the way down again. Now it's easier than climbing up. You just gotta go down and you're back happy that you reached all your goals that you once made. Its like heaven to you after. All the achievements that you made and goals are finally completed.

Boxing needs Skills

Hi, My name is Devin Yang and mountain will be being a boxer when I grow up. Base camp on Mnt. Everest is like preparing and get geared up for a team climb. Mnt. Everest’s base camp for boxing is getting trained by your own people and not by real boxing teachers. It is also like boxing at a young age with only your cousins or brothers.

Base Camp for Mnt. Everest is like listening to your guide and listen to the rules he says and what you will need to know so you can make it to your goal you always wanted. Boxing for Base Camp is like your uncles buying boxing gear and you put on the gloves and start punching your cousins at a young age.

On Mnt. Everest Camp 3 is where like you start getting warmed up and is like completing the first stage of where your goals are at. For boxing Camp 3 is like going out looking for boxing matches on the streets which is what i am on right now. Also boxing for Camp 3 is getting tougher matches to get you more prepared before you head on to the tougher stage and completing the next stage of your goals that you made.

Camp 2 on Mnt. Everest is like reaching new very surprising levels you never thought you were never going to pass or get and also new skills you can take out and teach the world and or use it when you want to. Camp 2 for boxing is like finding a boxing gym and learning new boxing or fighting moves you never saw or did. It is also like achieving and being very proud of yourself that you made it this far. Boxing for Camp 2 is like getting trained hard so you can actually go out and fight in a ring. Also it is where your boxing career starts.

On Mnt. Everest, climbing up to Camp 1 is kind of like suiciding or killing yourself just to get to your goal because Camp 1 is where your body starts dying slowly. Also it is where a lot of people starts dying and where you have to be very careful on what and where you're going. Camp 1 for boxing is like going to the boxing ring and boxing really really good guys that have been trained as hard as you were trained. Also it is where you start winning and start getting fame and money.

The Summit on Mnt. Everest is like dying very quickly and where all the natural disaster happens. For boxing The Summit is like winning lots of belts and start getting older and slower. It is also at the stage where you have to retire and where people will remember you because of the history you made and created.

My mountain & everest?

The difference between mount everest & my mountain? I think they’re probably the same, they’re both very hard to get through. Everest just might be a little more harder but not as much. Im going to do everything i can just to make it to the top just how mountain climbers that are climbing everest think. No matter what challenges or encounters i come by i will make for everyone i love and for everyone thats always been there like my nieces and sisters. Im going to do all my work, pass the classes/requirements i need, get through 10th, 11th, 12th grade, graduate 12th grade, look for colleges to specialize in something, and find a job that i specialized in. im going to do all of this to reach my mountain. My mountain is to finish school off and become something in life.
Compared to base camp in everest to mine everest’s is way tougher to go through than mine. My base camp is to do all my work through the school years. Yes it would be easy to do my work but will i do good on it? Would i get a good grade? Would i actually do my work or be lazy about it? Those are the biggest challenges and base camp got a big challenge too. There challenge it is go up the khumbu glacier to get to base camp. Also on your way to base camp you may sick like a dry cough, hard to catch a breath, but there is a beautiful scenery.
My camp 1 would be to pass the classes/requirements i need. Camp 1 in everest is at 19,500 feet thats pretty high up. Depending on the expedition camp 1 will either be stocked by climbers as they ascend and decsend the icefall, or by sherpas in advanced. Sherpas are people that help the climbers. Getting through camp 1 is the same amount of challenge as my camp 1 because i might not do good on my work, tests, and projects. I just might pull through with everything like most climbers do. Now at cmap 1 its probably way harder to breathe i know they have the tanks to breathe from but what if they dont have anymore? Or just cant get to the next tank? Thats alot of risk taking challenges.
Camp 2 might be a really hard one. Its to get through 10th, 11th, and 12th grade. It might be harder because i know that my senior year is going to be the most hardest and stressful grade to go through. You got to make sure you pass the requirements you need and pass your senior project. The senior project is probably the hardest, most nerve racking, and stressful part or being a senior. Im sure the climbers on everest are going to be just as stressed in camp 2 as i am in my camp 2. Climbers reach camp 2 at 21,000 feet, they may not be temporarily out of sight of base camp for support. When they leave camp 2 they go toward the lhotse face.
My camp 3 is the easiest part if i pass everything and its to graduate 12th grade. After senior projects and stuff like that it would be so much easier for me. All i gotta worry about is walking the stage. The climbers camp 3 is way harder they have to negotiate the lhotse face. Climbing that wall of ice you have to have skills, strength, and stamina. This camp would be a way way way tougher part then camp 1 and 2.
Camp 4 would be to look for colleges to specialize in something. Thats gonna be easier to get through but the challenge is get into the college. Another challenge is to be able to pay for it. Climbers camp 4 is at 26,300 feet. Its way much more of a challenge.

My Football Life Compared To Everest

I’ve been playing football for the past 6 years. There is a lot you have to do to become even a decent football player. Football isn’t like basketball, you can’t just pick up 11 random players & get a game started. Football requires lots of practice, just like you have to do when you are preparing to climb Mountain Everest. Base Camp prepares you on your further adventure of Everest just like practice prepares me for my football games. Base Camp is like my first year of football because when i first started to play, I didn’t even know the basics of the sport. Being at practice everyday helped me to understand the sport more & being at Base Camp will help you understand the cycle of the Mountain.

Camp one is like me sitting at home going over the plays that I need to know. Memorizing the plays is another step to the next level while Camp one is a step right before Camp 2. If I am at home doing absolutely nothing, I will grab my playbook & go over every single play until I got them all locked in. I will do that for about a week, preparing myself to get on the field & do every single play correctly. What I will be doing on the weekly basis kind of compares to each camp on Everest because on each camp you will stay for a few weeks so you can prepare to go on to the next level.

Camp 2 will be like my sophomore year in highschool. I will continue to prepare myself for the big leagues. On Camp 2 you will still be preparing yourself for the higher levels on Everest. My sophomore year will be a very exciting year for me because I will take every opportunity to get to the level that i expect myself to be at. I will hustle hard at practice & fight for my position. In my eyes, I feel i can take on any challenge that is given to me & if you are brave enough to climb Everest & you made it to Camp 2, you should feel the same way. During football season in my sophomore year, there may be a slight slope in the games we win if everybody on the field don’t put their all into the game. There is a slight slope on Camp 2, but you will begin to see the difference in height once you keep climbing.

Camp 3 is when the altitude begins to change. Camp 3 will be like my junior year because then i will be on varsity & that’s when the speed of the game speeds up. Things will begin to get more difficult when playing football a higher level. I know on Camp 3 that things begin to get difficult due to air & altitude but it’s the same with football.

My Way To My Mountain

Do you think climbing Everest is easy? It’s not a joke to climb. It’s actually not easy to climb there. Many people die,few survive. Mount Everest is probably the toughest challenge and my mountain will be challenge as well. First, I want to say there are 5 camps on Mount Everest. It’s a long walk to get to the top. The challenges on Everest is to not die and not fall off. Also, you have to have a oxygen tank with you as you get higher.

Camp 1 is where my life begins which is high school. The reason why I say high school is where my life begins because my mountain is to go to college and high school will affect my goal if I don’t get my Diploma. First of all, I need to finish all 4 year of high school and get my diploma and get good grades to reach to the top of my mountain. This year, I have finish my first year of high school. One down, 3 more to go.

Camp 2 places me in my sophomore year. To able to complete that year, I need to study harder than I did in my freshmen year and focus more on school. It’s going to be a bit harder for me next year because I might work and I will have a small bit amount of time to do my homework if my schedule doesn’t go the way I want.

Camp 3 is where I’ll be in my junior year. Ima have to focus even more hard and study 2 times harder than I did in my sophomore year. It’s where my high school years is about to end but still got another year to go. Ima have to pay attention to every little bit because it will help me in my college years when I attend to go. Just like where you have to listen to sherpas on Mount Everest if you was to climb. A sherpa is basically like a teacher who guides you on the mountain.

Top of my Mountain
On my mountain there is a lot of risks to taking to get to the top which is why, my mountain and Mount Everest are kinda the same. But don’t get me wrong we do have some differences for example, on my mountain I travel alone because of my decisions and where I wanna go. The topic of my mountain is school, making it to college. Mount everest’s is to make it to the top very similar except i'm trying to make to the top to be somebody.

Freshman year is where it all starts also known as base camp for mount everest. This is the beginning where I start to climb up. We have to start at base camp before we try to go any further because there's a lot you have to learn, goals we have to accomplish. To be able to make it to the summit of mount everest you have to be focused and prepared for anything in order to pass just like you have to to get to the next grade.

Next there is sophomore year which is camp 1. Camp1 is located at 19,500 feet up the mountain. Sophomore year is the second year to get to the top. There are lot of sophomores probably slipping from their bad grades or there is some going up to continue on to being a sophomore. Just like on mount everest in camp1 it be stocked with climbers as they ascend and descend the icefall.

My Mountain

My high school journey is somewhat similar to someone climbing mount everest to the summit. We have to put time and effort to what we're trying to aim for. For school i want to get A’s but if i don't try my hardest i won't get one. For those who climb all the way to the summit they have to really put effort and time into what they're doing because otherwise they'll fail and die.

Base camp is like the my freshman year, it's the start of everything. Of a new journey that you're going to have to be in for a while. Freshman year is scary. You have to get use to the new environment. The teachers, students, change of schedule, the classes you're taking. In everest you're wondering if you're going to make it or not. You're in a different climate, you're on your feet most of the time, you're not surrounded by your loved ones.

Base camp 1 is going to be my sophomore year. I'm kinda nervous about it, since i didn't end well this school year i'm scared what to expect for myself next year. I think for climbers once they get higher to base camp 1 they get more excited and scared at the same time. They start having harder times to breathe and more chances of dying.

Base camp 2&3 is what high school is all about.

Fight Through It

Reaching the summit takes time and effort. Everest is the highest mountain in the world located between Nepal and Tibet. Risk taking people are willing to put their lives at risk to be able to reach the summit. Us students have our own Everest we want to climb and be able to overcome the obstacles. Graduating from high school is a journey, like a journey to reach the summit of Everest.

Climbing everest contains many challenges for climbers to reach the summit. Being able to read a situation and knowing how to correctly and quickly react is a method climbers need to put to use to be able to survive. School wise, students stumble through a lot of obstacles to be able to graduate. One of the most common challenge is aiming for good grades. Students have to be able to read the teacher to reach the standards of what the teacher expects.

Everest climbers have to pack correctly to be able to survive throughout the whole journey. If climbers don't pack the correct items they'll definitely have a lot of problems slowing them down from succeeding. Just like climbers, students come across a lot of problems as in family issues, stress, and many other problems. If students don't know how to manage their problems at home and school work they'll most likely fall behind in their classes.

The outlooks of both journeys contain a very satisfying ending if the journey is completed successfully. Climbers will enjoy a breathtaking view from the very top of Everest. Although they can only stay the most five minutes, they’ll take in every second that’ll last a lifetime. Students will feel accomplished knowing that they made it through four years of strenuous school work.

The end has reached a new beginning. Students will now be looking into college which means they have a new mountain they’ll have to reach. Unlike from the journey of graduating from high school, students will have more understanding and knowledge to be able to survive through college. Although they will be introduced to new problems they’ll be prepared to overcome any obstacles. We all have different mountains we climb throughout our life whether it's actually climbing Everest or graduating from high school. LIfe is full of mountains, they may seem impossible to reach but you have to look at the outlooks and be ready for any mountain that is put in front of you.

My mountain essay
MT. Everest is probably the toughest challenge in the world and has a lot of steps to get to the top and those steps have there own challenges in between. You also have help along the way by people called sherpas. Well I have my own mountain that can compare to MT. Everest. My mountain is to make to the NFL and live my dream of being a all time great running back in the league.
Base camp is the first stop on Everest and it is also the easiest part. You stay at base camp to acclimatize and get used to the air so you can continue your journey to the bigger challenge which is the summit. I compare base camp to playing pop warner football because it's the easiest and it helps get you ready for the bigger challenge which is high school football and beyond. Also your coaches are like the sherpas they help guide you to become the best that you can be.
Camp 1 is where things start to get challenging . First you have to go through the khumbu icefall which is one of the most dangerous part of the mountain. You can loose your life going up the khumbu ice fall and face a lot of challenges like big walls of ice to go up or gaps in the ice that you have to use a ladder to walk across. I compare camp 1 to the first two years of high school football because you also face a lot of challenges in that time. Some of the challenges you can face are drugs and falling off in your grades. When the challenges come you can look to teachers and coaches for help kind of like sherpas on Everest.
Camp 2 is just as challenging if not more challenging than camp 1. In camp two you have to try and get used to the lack of air you are giving and try cease every opportunity you get to get some air. Also you have to climb up the slope where you can get caught in a jam because of the other people trying to get to the same place you are. This compares to the last two years of high schools because you trying to get air is like trying to get a scholarship to go play college football. Also the way you can get stuck in a jam is like being caught up with all the other players who have the same goal as you and are trying to get scholarships.
Camp 3 is a whole other challenge that can determine if you make it to the top or not. Camp 3 has the same challenges as camp 2 but just more harder to overcome like the air is even more harder to get but the jams are a little smaller cause only some of the best climbers make it to camp 3.This is just like college football to me because you a fighting for a starting spot and NFL scouts like you fight for air on Everest. Also the jam gets smaller because not all high school players get a chance to play college football but there is still a lot of players you are competing against.

Camp 4 or the dead zone is the hardest part of the mountain and the last step you need to reach the summit. The hardest part is the Hillary step where you either make and go to the summit or you don't the you'll probably die. This is like the time between your last college football game and the NFL draft because of the struggles of not knowing if you will make it or not. I compare the Hillary step to the NFL draft combine which is where all the NFL coaches have their eyes on you and the way you perform determines if they draft you or not.
The summit is the very top it's where you wanna be. My summit is to make it to the NFL and be one of the greatest players to play the game. If I was to make to the NFL I would feel that I just made all my childhood dreams come true and will be able to provide everything for my mom and family.

Hey , my name is john niuvao , a freshmen at Luther Burbank. MY Mountain is to get through my last three years of high school with a little challenge. Mt. Everest is dangerous, mysterious, and determined to climb which is similar to my personal Mt. everest goal. It’s similar because as you climb you constantly slip but continue to keep trying.

Mt. everest has 5 main tutorial camps. Base camp , is the basics of everest. The tool and strategies put to use to experience. Camp 1 is a guidance from those who’ve been use to and absorbed the feeling and difficulties from mt.everest. Camp 2 is predicting weather or not you mislead that icefall. Camp 3 is where altitude stats decreasing causing illnesses and maybe deaths. Camp 4 is where most can’t breathe and start dropping like flies. Camp 5 is when you’ve accomplished your goal of getting to the top.

Similar to mt. everest my mountain , Base camp on my mountain i see football, sports definitely exist.Played since i was 6 and i still enjoy the sport.

Camp 1, was difficult to me being hard headed, but over the years that’s past i’ve seen a change, i’m getting attached to my surroundings is where i was swiped by an icefall.

Camp 2, got tense as i decided to hang out and follow the group of herd, that wasn’t for me. Eventually i payed the consequences. Although peer pressure was tapping on my shoulder, yet i slipped and ended up hanging out. lol .

Camp 3, i played wiser. I chose my equipment, knowing that air would got thinner. I continued to push to the deathzone.

Camp 4, got hectic on my way down i seen people that ..

My mountain on everest
Camp 1 starts with high school at first i thought that it was going to be one of my hardest challenges yet to come but after I had gotten used to how the school system works then my mom started to get on my case cause my grades started slipping later on in the year my dad said that he wanted to get me to go to school at his house but I couldn't just leave my mom so I had to turn him down but then me and my mom started getting better.

On camp 2 this year of high school I want to make sure that me and my mom stay close and my grades don't fall mostly because my mom says if my grades drop she will break all my stuff but if I don't she says that maybe she will loosen up a little bit but if all goes well it could turn out to be a pretty nice year it's pretty much just the year to prepare for the next year I don't really think that this year matters but never the less it could effect me and my whole life.

Camp 3 for this camp i wanted to focus on my junior year i want to try hard and start trying to get good grades and help out my mom with the house one of my many goals is to get a car so that way i do not have to keep walking cause my legs are starting to hurt and a car could change my whole life benefit my social life to another one is to start seeing my dad because some people don't have a dad and i have to make the most of it with him

Camp 4 on my senior year the most thing i want is to make my mom happy by getting my grades up and to not let her down and to make her proud so that way she can say that she made something and if i ever make my mom not happy i will do everything in my power to make her happy

The Hardest Climb

Mt. Everest and my mountain aren’t so different, they both are really hard to climb. Mt. Everest is the tallest mountain in the world. It is 29,029 feet tall. There is multiple campsites to reach the summit of Mt. Everest. There is two routes to climb Everest. There is multiple dangers on Everest. And everyone wants to climb Everest. My mountain is to be a lawyer. There is also multiple challenges in order to be a lawyer.

Base camp is where people start the journey to climb Everest. Base camp is located at 17,600 feet off sea level. It is hard to get there if you’re not fit. Many people just go to base camp because it is not as hard to climb to the summit. This is where I will start too. Because everyone starts at the lowest point, but many don’t stay here.

The first challenges that you notice when you are on Everest is the low oxygen. It is pretty hard to breathe here, if you are not used to it. So what many people do here is acclimatize. They attempt to get used to the low oxygen. But if you aren’t used to it you can get sick fast. They when people are ready the make it through the icefall in order to get to camp 1. When I’m here I will get used to doing a lot of work in order to climb my mountain.

The Khumbu Icefall right before camp 1. The ice fall is where ice is constant motion. Ice can fall without warning. Getting to camp 1 is also a challenge for me,because this is high school is for me. High school is my first struggle in order to be a lawyer. After getting to camp 1,(19,500 feet) people acclimatize for lower oxygen .

Then they go to camp 2.(21,300 feet) The area in between camp 1 and 2 is known as the western cwm. They may be out of sight of base camp. Which is bad because base camp helps the climbers get up. This is where I will go after high school in order to be a lawyer. This is where college would be at for me. College would be my second challenge to overcome.

After acclimatize at even lower oxygen at camp 2 ,they head to camp 3 . In between camp 2 and 3 is the Lhotse face The Lhotse face is a large steep icy wall. It is very hard to climb over. One misstep can claim a climber’s life. Since it is so hard to climb over many people skip over it. My next challenge is law school. I will overcome law school.

At camp 3,(23,700 feet) there really isn’t much here. After people acclimatize here they head towards camp 4. There is a huge problem while going to camp 4. The head towards the DEATH ZONE. The death zone is over 26,000 feet. This where the body can no longer acclimatize due to so low oxygen. So our bodies start dieing. So that means we can’t stay in camp 4 for too long. This is where the BAR test is at for me. The BAR test is where many people fail, but can try again.

Camp 4 (26,300 feet) you can’t stay here for long. If you do stay a long time the higher the chance of you getting of HACE or HAPE or death. This is the last place before the summit. This is the final push. This where I will try my hardest to get to the summit.

The summit(29,029 feet) this is the final place. This is where i would become a lawyer. This is when I would accomplish my goal. This is where many climbers would be happy or sad. Then they would climb back down. The climb of Everest would be very rewarding to many. It is a great feeling.

My Everest Mountain is Helping my Family

Okay let's start with My Mountain is about me in 9th grade acting dumb Never Doing stuff in my first week of school because i got kicked out from my other High School and got sent to Luther Burbank High School But then i stopped acting dumb and start doing stuff cause i really wanna help my parents The first year of 2017 my whole Life was Freaked up because so many stuff happened to my life and that's the reason why i wanna get a job so i could help my mom and my sister i really love them both there's more into my Mountain.

After i’m done with High School i’m gonna apply for college and become a lawyer or a Song Writer maybe i might become a Songwriter because i like listening to songs and making my own Classic/Rapping Song i’m not gonna do it for the fame i don’t really the fame i’m just gonna do it for my family and my fans (if i do have fans Lol) For me Family and Friends are always first because u need to take care of those who care for you but Don’t u hate when u friends are fake even if you were always there for them.

I hate those that are fake and just use their friends for money only ever since my old step dad left us we kinda became poor but we never give up i helped my family Rise up and never to give up just because that 1 person leaves the family some time i hug my sis for her to stop crying cause i really care about her i lived the saddest horrible life ever but now i'm happy since i got the real friends and my family to stay up.
I'm happy i barely see them crying now imma try get a job when i’m in 10th grade were gonna become 1 happy family again everything almost stopped in my family accept for hope people judge me of the way i look and raised by my family but why judge me i'm just a nice chill kid that lived through a hard living life ima become the Songwriter i wanna be i already made my first song all i need is a studio to sing it

My mountain is a Dr

My mountain is like mount everest because there are camps that help you get up to the summit which you'll learn later and my mountain is just like that but a little harder. Camp is where your about to start on your goal so i did a little step to succeed in life but in everest you must take your or else you might not come back. Everest temperature will kill so you must take your time camp 1, but it might take weeks or month just to adjust to the atmosphere and keep going to camp 2 then keep doing the process.

Camp 2 is a little harder but kinda easy because in my mountain after i finish highschool i'm making a plan to go to college by saving money, go to a 4 year college degrees so i can be accepted in medical school but as in for everest you must stay there for a few more day because it’s 21,300 feet above ! My goal about being a doctor is crazy stuff getting hard everytime you go higher to meet your goal.

Camp 3 is getting a little tense now that i finish my 4 years degrees in college i didn't know how to begin my life as a doctor because there so many of them but for everest climbing up seem to narrow down as you walk against the crevasse and man if you fall you might need to restart or just give up everything that you done for yourself. My goal personally it's a big deal because it mean so much to me. Everest you don’t know what to do so you improvise like what i did for my goal.

Camp 4 is much more tense because my goal i got accepted but i gotta take anotha years or school to be an officially a doctor and which sucks and at the same time it's worth it due to all those year you did just to save someone life. But for mount everest you're at what it's called the dead zone due to the high altitude and which might kill you due to fluid in your lung.

Summit is the deadliest place on earth due to the low oxygen which can kill you under a minute and the degrees is negative 2 and it can be tragic. Such as my goal after i finish college i became a doctor and believe me you have to deal with all the blood and death because the depend on you to save their loved one lives. And you might have a long operation due to hard operation like difficult plantation. Most

My mountain compared to Mt.Everest

People have dreams for their future right? When I was growing up I would always say ‘’ I want to be a judge or a lawyer when I get older.’’ Because when I was growing up I would hear that people would go to prison for no reason. And so I would always want to protect people because i’m a loving person. But what changed my mind was that while I was little I would have to take care of my little cousin because, his mom would leave him all day to go do drugs and my other family members I the house wouldn’t want to take care of him. An as I got older I would hear that parent would abuse their kids. And when they went into a foster home some of the foster parents would abuse them to. So I chose to help kids who is in need of help. Well some people dream is to climb mt.everest. When climbing everest you have to go through a lot of steps. The first step is base camp, camp 1, camp 2, camp 3, camp 4, and then the summit.

Base camp is the first step its height is 17,500 feet (5350 meters). My base camp compared to everest base camp is finishing school in order to become a social worker.

Camp 1 is the second step its height is 19,500 feet (5900 meters). Camp 1 is where i would state my struggles and challenges to be a freshman in high school.

My challenges in high school would be trying to pass my classes and the finals like now i have to write this essay. My struggles are trying to be more active, but i can’t because i am to shy to do so i would think people would think i’m stupid. OH that’s another struggle having the thought of people thinking i’m stupid. But i have to overcome those struggles and challenges. I guess they are kinda like fears.

Camp 2 is the third step its height is 21,300 feet (6500 meters). Camp 2 is were i would tell you about how i would finish high school.

To finish high school i am going to have to take more, be more creative, to have self-control, and have self motivation. And also to stay focused in my classes.

Camp 3 and camp 4 is the fourth step and fifth step. Camp 3 its height is 23,700 feet (7200). Camp 4 its height is 26,300 feet (8000 meters). I have to enroll in a college that offers the Bachelor of Social Work degree (BSW) that I can complete as an undergraduate (usually within four years). Not all colleges have a BSW major but , most will offer a related field like sociology or psychology.

The summit is the last step, its height is 29,028 feet (8848 meters) That is where I become a social worker. I am going to have overcome whatever new struggles and challenges in order to succeed in climbing my mountain.

Theres many obstacles in life but the others can relate in the same but different ways as in climbing Mt.Everest.There’s many bumps in the road such as crevasses there are people that you can count on just as we can usually count on our parents they can count on climb guards to get the to the top which is called the Summit.

Well let's start at the base camp which is roughly about 17,388ft up high.Which is myself continuing highschool trying to prepare for the next couple of years of school and also to prepare for college and trying to comprehend the subjects and the the problems i had to get better and for the situations to get better. And while you're making your way up to the Khumbu ice fall is there's lots of crevasses and that like more problems as in my grandpa going away for awhile,I always knew he loved me but it was really hard because of how it happened he's gonna be coming home sooner than his released date.

Camp 1 is where i’m gonna be focussed and try my hardest and being on task to get to the top where it's getting harder along the way to start to acclimate so it's harder to breathe just as my life and myself harder when my sister leaves me every year and she's the one i do it for.She goes every year to a whole other state and its hard for me because it was always my sister and i against everyone because my father went to prison when i was 3 months old and i was born on his 18th birthday, also my mother and myself we never had the most healthiest relationship so i would always call her if i had a problem. So with her being so far it would be hard because she would help me through a lot.

But also Camp 2 was making it even more harder due to the altitudes getting higher and harder to breath as well as it gets harder to me because along the way of getting ill while going up the mountain it's just as well as me trying to survive with my family because we all don't get along and we all don’t have a good relationship so it's cold which is saying it's hard to get there to your goal if you have so many problems on the way to the success in your life;at times people don't want to see you make it so they pull you down with them to make you feel there pain but sometimes if they try to pull you down they don't always know you've been through worse so there’s not much they can bring you down.

And here we go right here before we get to the death zone when it's about 25,919ft high which is camp 3 and the sicknesses are getting even worse. The sicknesses are getting so bad where
If the limb gets so cold you will have to amputate it and they would still want to continue on and it would be their choice they have the choice to either keep keep going your go back the hill because of them losing the limb. But the way i can be in their situation was when someone has been took away from me as in someone passing or leaving me as in my aunt andrea and my cousin ashley even we really didn't know each other well its my family.Plus family is everything to you so if you lose someone or something and affects your life you you can be a mess up or try to do it for them or it and always say it's for them.

But on Camp 4 it's also the same as well too because in camp 4 it's called the Death zone because of all the deaths going on plus if they die you have to leave them because if you try to bring them back down or more up you will die to because you're already exhausted and it's hard to eat as well so you have to force yourself to eat. There's many things that are just like this situations as in trying to accepted into colleges also struggling to get the money to go to school so that why i've been trying to play football so it's easier to get a football scholarship especially for the college i want to got to which is Hawaii University and if i don't go there i wouldn't know what i would do i would still go to college but i'm sure it's wouldn't be as good as in accomplishing my goal.

The summit is the point of the whole adventure and trying to accomplish your goal after all the sicknesses and the freezing weather going up and going back down after all the time of trying to accomplish to be meet your goal.Which my goal is to become a doctor after many years of college i will be successful and have an amazing house and my family to have nothing to worry about so this is my goal and thank you and after seeing the summit you will be successful and feel great about yourself just as well as i will.

My Mountain Is A Football Star

My mountain is like Mt. Everest, it has many base camps like 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 which is the summit(the very top). Mt Everest has 5 bases each one gets higher and higher and harder and much harder. Like becoming a football star requires levels or bases you get past. Much easy then ends harder but, when you're on top of that summit you feel like you achieved it all.

Base Camp 2, is much harder than base camp 1. Like said it gets harder each time you get higher. In my mountain i have to go through a 4 year college in order to make it all the way up. Being on top of the summit is showing you achieved it. Base Camp 2 is 21,300ft in the sky high right. Being a football star gives you crazy journeys just trying to be on top.

Base Camp 3, is getting much harder than base camp 1 and 2. It's harder each time you get harder because “They don't want to see you make it”. I finish my 4 years in college and now i'm in the National Football League. I went through to camps already and i feel worn out. But each base camp is harder and harder each time you move up. Crazy mountain but, i have to still keep moving forward.

Base Camp 4, is more intense than the last three base camps but, i made it through. Now i'm in the NFL and i have to be known and shine. I'm just a couple feet away from the top(Base Camp 5) or the summit. I just have to work harder and smarter to reach the summit. But in Mt Everest you're at what they call the dead zone. Why? Its called the dead zone because that's where most people will die and not make it to top. Well me I'm still trying.

Summit is the deadliest place because of the low air cause you're so high in the sky. But you reached the top you noticed you made it but have another long journey going down. It's much dangerous going down then climbing up. And i'm finally a football star i made to the top started at base camp 1 and now at the summit. I MADE IT. But, there's another journey going down. Hopefully the road down is fast and safe rather than slow and deadly.

My life and Mount.Everest well their the same see my mountain is to be a comedian but just like Everest you have to go through many obstacles just to get up to the best part and that's the summit

OK so lets start were at camp 1 which is about 17,388 ft high making jokes and practicing how to make people laugh prepares me to be a comedian base camp 1 prepares me for my adventure to the summit.

Camp 2 sometimes people when i'm trying to funny i go overboard and people get mad when i do or say something inappropriate due to base camp 1 i now know what to do

Camp 3 sometimes people say that i'm not funny or that i won't make to be a comedian or that i'm going to be locked up in jail i almost fell off and gave up on my way to the summit but i still kept going.

Camp 4 i have been practicing how to make people laugh learning and making up new jokes also know what to say and what not to say now people some of the people that say that i'm not funny or use to hate on me or now giving me complement have changed their mind are now saying that i am funny due to camp 2 i know what to say and not to say

Dead Zone I plan on finishing high school then take comedy classes to get ready and prepare for the next big thing which is the big stage and getting famous but i need to slow down so after i take those classes i will take a brake i'm at the dead zone now and i think i'm getting sick i need to take a break and get some rest.

Summit i'm not out of high school yet i still have three more years to go so i have a long way to go so i i'm going to start a YouTube channel so i can get famous on there and be halfway there so when i be a comedian people will already know who i am and will want to come see me do my thing well i'm halfway to the summit all most their see you guys when i'm at the top
